Feardemic Weekly Round-Up #1

This week marks the beginning of PAX Online, the digital format of the famous game industry event. Like most events of this kind, PAX Online offers the opportunity to attend consumer shows, developer conferences, and see brand new games.

Why are we mentioning it? Simple: Dark Fracture won a spot on the PAX Online Indie Showcase. And to celebrate the occasion, Twisted II Studio (the developer of the game) just published a new gameplay teaser.

New gameplay teaser for Dark Fracture

If you have been following the development of Dark Fracture for a while, on top of never-before-seen shots you will be able to spot several things in this new teaser, such as new environments, improved character models, new paranormal events, and other details that we won’t spoil.

New patch 1.5 for Cathedral 3-D

Ever wondered why the developer of Cathedral 3-D named his company Unfinished Games? That’s right: because he never stops updating his games.

That is why today he released patch 1.5, containing a lot of much-needed fixes as well as a bunch of new features particularly aimed at improving the accessibility of the game, such as the possibility to customize key bindings.

If you own the game, we strongly recommend you to read the changelog.

Community Spotlight: a tale of artists and streamers

There’s nothing that brings more joy to developers than fans spreading awareness and creating content about their games.

Over the past year, Steam user Arcames has been one the most, if not the most, prolific creators of fan-art of One Shell Straight to Hell. It doesn’t take more than a look to see how talented he is:

On the “spreading awareness” side of things, one particular stream of Dark Fracture: Prologue (the free demo of Dark Fracture) caught our attention over the past 2 weeks.

This one is from the growing but talented streamer Virtude, which you can watch here:

Speaking of streamers, if you head up to the storefront of Dark Fracture you will notice that we are currently hosting content from selected YouTubers that did an amazing job to show how terrifying Dark Fracture: Prologue is. Make sure to check them out at this link!
